Chase Bank is one of the most impersonated financial institutions in the country. Scammers send convincing fake alerts about account holds, wire transfers, or suspicious purchases designed to trick you into giving up your login credentials or transferring money.
Chase Bank texts about real alerts will never ask you to click a link and enter your full password, SSN, or debit card number. If the text asks you to take immediate action via a link, it is almost certainly a phishing attempt.
